Calculateur de Masse Grasse
Estimez votre pourcentage de masse grasse avec la méthode des circonférences de l'US Navy. Nécessite seulement un mètre ruban.
Comment Mesurer
- Neck: Measure just below the larynx (Adam apple), with tape sloping slightly downward
- Waist (male): Measure at navel level
- Waist (female): Measure at the narrowest point
- Hip (female): Measure at the widest point (largest circumference)
Use a flexible tape measure, keep it snug but not compressing the skin, and measure at the end of a normal exhale.
Comment Fonctionne la Méthode Navy
The U.S. Navy circumference method uses body measurements to estimate body density, which is then converted to a body fat percentage. For men, the formula uses neck and waist circumference along with height. For women, hip circumference is also included. The calculations are based on logarithmic regression equations derived from hydrostatic weighing data.
Based on the U.S. Navy circumference method, validated by Hodgdon and Beckett (1984).
